Anglia Ruskin University - Film and TV

This course would be suitable for me as it i enjoy creating movies, alongside editing them and viewing my final sequence. I personally love to edit short films as i feel i can be creative in many ways, such as; colour grading, sound effects, choice of order, etc. This course focuses on making short films at a high standard but also the theory side of film making. I went to an applicant day at Anglia Ruskin and found that it covered a lot of interests of mine, therefore motivating me to go to this certain university.

University of Lincoln - Film production

Similar to Anglia Ruskin university, this course will help expand the knowledge and information of film production as a whole but mainly learn new editing softwares and start to learn theory. I have never been taught theory and to learn about this will help give me a better understanding of what film production is about.

University of Hertfordshire - Media Production

The university of hertfordshire is different to the other two as it really focuses on camera skills and how to operate them. I spent a day at the university of Hertfordshire and i wasnt expecting to learn much about camera's. I learnt lots about the equipment they use, how they have made professional films at a very high level but I also got a view of the equipment used to edit this footage. Although this was different, I liked the environment and what the university has to bring.
